How to Generate an Offline Report

Submitting for accreditation or reaffirmation can be a stressful time. Knowing that, last year we asked ourselves how we can reduce the stress associated with that process. After some internal brainstorming and conversations with current clients, the idea of simplifying the process of getting your final report emerged as the top item.

You may have noticed some small changes throughout the fall semester; these were put in place to drive towards our ultimate goal of simplifying the process. With our latest release, generating your report is now completely in your control. You can:

  • Choose the items that should be included in your report right within the product 
  • Run your own Link Checks and view the results on your own timeline, as often as you’d like 
  • Generate your Offline Report when you need it without reaching out to our support team

The process for getting your Offline Report (formally known as Archive) is all achievable right within Anthology Accreditation. In the Options dropdown menu, look for the new Offline Report selection and read up on the new functionality in this support article.

What's Changed

The entire process to create an Offline Report is now available to the Site Administrator.

  1. Site administrators are now able to name and identify items that will be included in the final report right from within the product.
  2. Site administrators are now able to run the Link Check process on their own without needing to reach out the the support team.
    • Link Checks can be run as many times as needed.
  3. Site administrators can easy view the results of the Link Check on the Offline Report page as soon as they are ready.
  4. Site administrators can trigger the generation of the Offline Report on their own at any time without needing to reach out to the support team.
    • Reports can be regenerated by site administrators at any time.
  5. Once Offline Reports have been generated, they are available right within the Accreditation product. There is no more need to sign into a separate sFTP site to access them.
  6. The content of the .ZIP file has been updated to bring clarity and remove items that are no longer necessary.
    • LaunchWebsite.html file has been renamed to ViewReport.html to clarify how to view the report.
    • UBS Instructions have been removed.
    • Text document with institutional information has been removed.
